Impact Deliverance Institute was born out of a divine burden — to equip believers to walk free from demonic oppression and skillfully help others do the same. Founded by Dr. Bob Tacky in 1995, the first class launched with 12 students in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Today, students travel from across Canada, the United States, and internationally. In 2010, IDI was formally established with a global mandate to train pastors and lay leaders to establish effective deliverance ministries in their home churches.

Bishop Bob Tacky has been in ministry since 1987. As founder of Impact Deliverance Institute, he brings decades of pastoral experience, biblical scholarship, and practical wisdom to every course — equipping believers to walk free and minister that freedom to others.
He serves as Presiding Bishop of Impact Lives Church Canada, with branches in Toronto and Montreal, and oversees affiliated churches across Canada, the United States, and Africa. His ministry has reached conferences, crusades, and seminars across four continents.
